Courses Offered

To possess or acquire firearms you are federally required to attend the Canadian Firearms Safety Course, in order to acquire a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL).

You will need a license to participate in the Following:

·         Target practice or shooting competitions

·         You wish to or currently own and collect firearms

·         Your profession or occupation requires you to have a license

·         Big game & small game Hunting

 

Non-Restricted Firearms Safety Course

This course is essential for all persons interested in owning and using firearms. Non-restricted firearms are rifles and shotguns not deemed restricted or prohibited. It also includes most long guns.

Course material includes Understanding Your Firearm, How to Handle Firearms, and Critical Safety Protocols

student must fit the following criteria:

1.    Be 12 years of age or older (minors license that will automatically convert to a Standard PAL Card at the age of 18)

Restricted Firearms Safety Course

This course is for any firearms that are not prohibited and have a 470mm or less barrel length.

Before booking this course, all student must fit the following criteria:

1.    Be 18 years of age or older

2.    Complete or already have a non-restricted PAL
